Customer Advantages

As a customer, the advantages of acquiring a TESNIC turbine are:

Economical
Environmental
Peace of mind

Economical

By using a TESNIC turbine you will be able to achieve significant electricity bill savings or you will be able to make your home or your business self-sufficient. How much you will save depends on the utility electric price and on the average wind speed at the location where the turbine is installed. With these savings the TESNIC turbine will pay for itself in a short period. You can use the following graph to give you an idea on how fast your TESNIC turbine could pay for itself.

Disclaimer: The above figures are estimative only.

In some cases, such as very windy periods the TESNIC turbine may produce more electricity than your domestic need. The excess capacity could be eventually returned to the electrical grid via a process called net-metering. Current regulations permit, in most US states and Canadian provinces, to selling back of excess power via net-metering. For more information about net-metering you should consult your local utility power distributor.

Environmental

Electricity has become extremely important in our day to day lifestyle. Moreover, our demand for more electricity increases with every new electrical device that we bring to our house. Unfortunately more than 2/3 of the current electricity is produced in a thermal power plant by burning coal or gas, which will release into the atmosphere 1000g (1Kg) of CO2 for every kWh that we use.

The sad reality for our society is the fact that with our increased demand for electricity we increase the pollution of the atmosphere.

Many of us are more and more sensitive to the environmental issue that we have generated and we would like to take action to reverse that trend. However, we are reluctant to take actions that will negatively impact our lifestyle. From this point of view we are in a Catch 22.

The TESNIC turbine offers you the ability break that Catch 22 and to take significant actions to the greenhouse gases reduction effort. By using the “Green electricity” generated by the TESNIC turbine you will be able to reduce your CO2 (greenhouse gas) footprint. How much CO2 emission you will save depends on how the electricity is produced by your utility and on the average wind speed at the place where the turbine is installed.

For example, let’s assume that your power utility produces your electricity in a thermal power plant and let’s assume that your TESNIC turbine will produce 10,000kWh per year. By not using 10,000kWh per year from your power utility this means that you will prevent 10 tonnes (10,000 Kg) of CO2 every year to be released into the atmosphere.

Let’s take the above example one step further. Let’s assume that the majority of us, at the global scale, will take such actions by using the electricity generated by our TESNIC turbine.

The table on the right shows how much CO2 we may save together.

The positive impact on the environment will be colossal and that without any impact to our current lifestyle.

Can you imagine the positive effect of our actions, if every year 1.5 Billion tonnes of CO2 are NOT being release into the atmosphere?

The above calculations are based on the following data from
the
US Department of Energy

and the CO2 impact per electricity type generation.

Peace of mind

Peace of mind from power utility outages. In recent years major electricity shortages, heightened our increasing concerns on our dependency on the electrical power and the power utilities. The TESNIC turbine is a cost-effective and viable alternative to break that dependency. Usually the power shortages arise in windy and extreme weather conditions, which in fact are the ideal conditions for the TESNIC turbine.

Peace of mind from the power utility price increase. By using the electricity generated by the TESNIC turbine you avoid being affected by the future increases in electricity prices.
